Hyundai Department Store Donates Flood Relief Fund Together with Customers

View original imageOn August 18, the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association (Chairman Lim Chaecheong) announced that Hyundai Department Store (CEO Chung Jiyeong) had donated a total of approximately 47 million won to help neighbors affected by flood damage.
This donation was made possible through the voluntary participation of customers in Hyundai Department Store Group’s integrated membership service, ‘H.Point,’ combined with a matching grant from Hyundai Department Store. A total of 6,441 customers and employees joined in this warm act of sharing, adding significance to the solidarity between the company and its customers. In addition, Hyundai Department Store Group separately established a 300 million won flood recovery fund and delivered it to Hope Bridge.
Hyundai Department Store has consistently continued its charitable efforts during various disasters such as floods, wildfires, and earthquakes, including this recent donation. The total amount donated together with H.Point customers has now reached approximately 216 million won.
