Hyundai Livart Expands 'Livart Workshop' Offline... Strengthening K-Living Coexistence
Exhibition of Workshop Products at Livart Stores
Commission-Free Sales and Content Support
Number of Participating Workshops to Expand to 35 by Year-End
Hyundai Livart is accelerating the creation of a 'large and small K-Living' ecosystem by expanding cooperation with small business owners. Following support for online sales channels, the company has now established exhibition and sales spaces for handmade furniture and crafts at its major stores.
On August 19, Hyundai Livart announced that it has set up 'Livart Workshop' zones at four locations: Livart Total Gangnam, Livart Yongsan I'Park Mall, Livart Giheung, and Livart Total Daejeon. These zones showcase over 100 products, including plates, jewelry boxes, and ceramics from more than 20 workshops participating in the Livart Workshop. Customers can purchase items online immediately by scanning a QR code.

Out of approximately 300 workshops nationwide, 23 were selected based on criteria such as quality, design, and experiential process. Hyundai Livart is the only domestic furniture company to offer a specialized section for handmade furniture workshops.
A Hyundai Livart representative stated, "Customer response has been so positive, especially among people in their 20s and 30s, that a devoted fan base for Livart Workshop has formed, prompting us to create dedicated spaces in offline stores as well."
The representative added, "When the specialized section first opened, there were about 10 participating workshops, but that number has recently grown to 23. For popular workshops, monthly sales have increased by 30% each month this year. For Hyundai Livart, expanding our product categories to include small furniture and handcrafted items is expected to further enhance our product competitiveness."
In April, Hyundai Livart eliminated sales commissions, returning all profits to the workshops. In June, the company also provided exhibition and product-making class spaces for workshops at a pop-up store in Seongsu-dong, Seoul. In addition, Hyundai Livart produces brand content to introduce these workshops through its official YouTube channel and is expanding hands-on opportunities for consumers through one-day classes.

Hyundai Livart has become a strong supporter for such artisans."
Hyundai Livart plans to increase the number of participating workshops to 35 within this year and, in collaboration with the Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture, will add creative workshops led by young artists. The company is also considering additional support measures, such as mass production of collaborative products with workshop artists and establishing regional workshop academies.
