View original imageAccording to Pearl Abyss on August 19, 'Red Desert' was shortlisted for four categories at the Gamescom Awards: Best Visual, Most Epic, Best PlayStation Game, and Best Xbox Game.
Other nominees include 2K's 'Borderlands 4' and Capcom's 'Resident Evil Requiem' and 'Pragmata.'
The Gamescom Awards select the best titles in each category from the games exhibited that year, based on votes from an expert jury, Gamescom attendees, and viewers. The winners will be announced on August 22 (local time) at the Gamescom venue.

Gamescom will be held in Cologne, Germany, from August 20 to 24. Pearl Abyss will operate a booth at the event, showcasing a new questline demo for 'Red Desert.' Visitors will be able to experience quests from the early and mid-game of 'Red Desert,' starting with intense battles set in the open world.
