KB Kookmin Bank Offers Free Card Sales Management Service... Expanding to Pay and Delivery Platforms
KB Kookmin Bank announced on August 18 that the number of small business owners using its "Woori Store Card Sales" service, launched in June to help small businesses manage their sales, has surpassed 10,000.
This service, available for free to small business customers, allows users to view sales-related information such as card sales, deposit amounts, and pending deposits at a glance through KB Star Banking. KB Kookmin Bank plans to expand the service by the end of the year to include not only card sales, but also sales from simple payment (Pay), online marketplaces, and delivery platforms.
KB Kookmin Bank is also preparing a new program to support small business owners struggling with complicated tax procedures. The bank will provide free value-added tax (VAT) and comprehensive income tax filing services to its main small business clients. The VAT filing support service is scheduled to launch in the fourth quarter of this year, while the comprehensive income tax service will begin in April next year.
These support programs for small business owners are part of the "KB Small Business Owner Support Project." The project consists of four main areas: non-face-to-face financial support; support for loan interest and guarantee fees; in-person channel financial support for growth-oriented small businesses such as entrepreneurs and franchise models; and sales support to help small business owners manage and increase their sales.
