Preferential Interest Rates Tailored for Salaried Employees, Public Officials, and Individual Business Owners

BNK Busan Bank is accelerating its efforts to attract customers by launching a new savings product that offers tailored benefits.

On August 18, Busan Bank introduced the 'Only One Main Transaction Preferential Savings,' which provides specialized preferential interest rates for different customer groups such as salaried employees, public officials, and individual business owners.

The base interest rate is 2.00% per annum, and with additional preferential rates, customers can receive up to 5.00% per annum. Both customer-type-specific and common preferential rates can be applied simultaneously.

Salaried employees receive preferential rates based on the customer rating of their employer, the number of employees who open savings accounts, and their salary transfer records. Notably, the more employees who sign up, the greater the benefits. Public officials can receive additional preferential rates by providing proof of employment and salary records, while individual business owners can benefit through new subscriptions to the Yellow Umbrella Mutual Aid Fund and merchant account performance, respectively.

The common preferential rate is granted when conditions such as maintaining an average balance in a transaction account, subscribing to a time deposit, holding a group account, subscribing to an individual IRP, and using a credit or debit card are met. If all five conditions are fulfilled, a bonus interest rate of 1.00 percentage point is added.

Eligibility is limited to individuals aged 14 or older, and each person may open only one account. The subscription period is 12 months, and up to 500,000 KRW can be deposited each month with flexible payment options. Detailed product information is available on the Busan Bank website and mobile banking app.

Shin-Sik, head of Busan Bank's Personal Customer Group, stated, "We will strengthen our product lineup for main transaction customers and continue to expand practical financial benefits."
