Kumon Learning and Disney to Host the 1st Creative Literature Contest
A Total of 30 Million KRW in Prizes and Awards to Be Granted
On August 18, Kumon Learning, operated by Kyowon, announced that it will host the "1st Kumon Learning Creative Literature Contest with Disney Zootopia 2" for elementary and preschool students nationwide, in collaboration with The Walt Disney Company Korea.
This contest is designed to encourage elementary and preschool students to unleash their imagination and creativity, as well as to provide them with special experiences in their everyday lives.
The contest is open to all elementary and preschool students across the country, including Kumon Learning members. Participants can enter in two categories: Kumon Learning Literature and Disney Event.
The "Kumon Learning Literature" category includes: poetry by elementary students, drawing by preschool and elementary students, and prose by elementary students. Participants are free to express their ideas in the appropriate format for each category under the theme "What Happened to My Future Self."
The "Disney Event" category is themed around the upcoming Disney animated film "Zootopia 2," which is scheduled for release in November. This category consists of drawing by preschool and elementary students and prose by elementary students. Participants are required to watch the movie trailer and create their entries according to the specific theme for each category.
The application period runs until October 31, and the results will be announced on the contest website on December 1. Through the judging process, a total of 325 winners will be selected: ▲Grand Prize (1 person) ▲Gold Prize (4 people) ▲Silver Prize (10 people) ▲Encouragement Prize (50 people) ▲Group Grand Prize (1 team). Prizes and awards worth a total of 30 million KRW will be given.
