Samil PwC announced on the 18th that it will participate as a sponsor in the World Congress of Economists (ESWC), which will be held at COEX in Gangnam-gu, Seoul from today until the 22nd. Samil PwC will operate its own booth and showcase a variety of artificial intelligence (AI)-based solutions.
The World Congress of Economists is the world's largest academic conference in economics, organized every five years by the Econometric Society. This year, more than 2,500 economic leaders from 62 countries, including James Robinson, a professor at the University of Chicago and last year's Nobel Prize in Economics laureate, will attend. The event will feature various lectures, keynote sessions, academic sessions, exhibitions, official social events, and approximately 1,800 academic presentations are scheduled.
Samil PwC plans to introduce solutions such as 'AI Account' and 'Document AI', focusing on the automation of accounting tasks, increased efficiency, and risk management, to attendees visiting its booth. In addition, a survey on economic outlook and AI will also be conducted.

Meanwhile, last month Samil PwC officially launched 'AX Node', a dedicated organization to support companies in their AI transformation (AX) using AI technology and automation, and received a great response by operating an exclusive booth as the first in the accounting industry to do so at the '2025 AI Expo', where it showcased its AI solutions.
