According to the Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration, the region will come under the influence of the edge of a high-pressure system moving northwest from the seas south of Japan. From early morning, sea fog is expected in some areas of the southern West Sea, and dense fog with visibility less than 200 meters is forecast for island regions.
For the time being, the maximum apparent temperature is expected to rise to around 35 degrees Celsius, resulting in hot conditions and the possibility of a heat wave advisory being issued. Morning low temperatures will range from 23 to 26 degrees Celsius, and daytime highs will climb to between 30 and 34 degrees Celsius.
