MRO Reports Record-High First-Half Sales of 42.7 Billion KRW
First-Half Sales Surge 26.2% Year-on-Year
MRO, a supply chain management software company, announced on August 14 that its consolidated sales for the first half of this year reached 42.68 billion KRW, marking a 26.2% increase compared to the same period last year. This is the first time in the company's history that its cumulative first-half sales have surpassed 40 billion KRW.
During the same period, operating profit and net profit amounted to 1.12 billion KRW and 480 million KRW, respectively.
Second-quarter sales stood at 22.05 billion KRW, up 14.9% year-on-year. The company also recorded its highest-ever quarterly performance in the second quarter.
The main drivers of sales growth included: the establishment of procurement systems and expansion to overseas subsidiaries, primarily among large corporate clients; increased adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) solutions; visible achievements in overseas expansion through the global SRM software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution 'Caidentia'; and stable revenue from technology fees and cloud service usage fees from existing customers.
Breaking down sales by segment, software license sales in the first half reached 3.73 billion KRW, a 13.1% increase year-on-year. Technology fees and cloud service usage fees were 7.54 billion KRW and 2.77 billion KRW, respectively. Compared to the same period last year, technology fees increased by 26.3%, while cloud service usage fees rose by 9.2%.
MRO plans to continue its growth in both domestic and international markets in the second half of the year by advancing its solutions with a focus on AI and cloud technologies. The company intends to upgrade and launch its existing solutions as SaaS offerings, equipped with various global standard procurement functions and procurement-specialized AI agents.
