Shin Junghoon Secures 3.9 Billion KRW Special Grant from Ministry of the Interior and Safety
"Disaster Prevention and Expansion of Residential Infrastructure"
Shin Junghoon, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea representing Naju and Hwasun, announced on August 14 that he has secured a special grant of 3.9 billion KRW from the Ministry of the Interior and Safety to prevent disasters and expand residential infrastructure in the Naju and Hwasun regions. The special grant will be used to address key local issues.
Specifically, for Naju City, the projects include: ▲ Expansion of lanes on Junganggyo Bridge in Nampyeong-eup (300 million KRW) ▲ Revitalization and improvement of the Ichang-dong town center (500 million KRW) ▲ Drainage improvement in Singeummaeul, Suwon-ri, Nampyeong-eup (200 million KRW) ▲ Revitalization and improvement of the Bonghwang-myeon town center (500 million KRW) ▲ Expansion of disaster early warning facilities (400 million KRW).
For Hwasun County, the secured funds will be used for: ▲ Installation of streetlights in Dajiri, Hwasun-eup (400 million KRW) ▲ Establishment of a Cymbidium nursery industry facility (300 million KRW) ▲ Repair and reinforcement of the disaster-prone Shinsunggyo Bridge (400 million KRW) ▲ Renovation and maintenance of irrigation facilities in the Yonggye district (500 million KRW) ▲ Waterproofing work on the rooftop of the Hanioum Culture and Sports Center (400 million KRW).
