Heavy Rain Advisory Issued for Seosan and Taean in South Chungcheong... Heat Advisories in Effect for Five Areas Including Nonsan
As of 6:00 p.m. on August 13, the Korea Meteorological Administration issued a heavy rain advisory for Seosan and Taean in South Chungcheong Province.
A heavy rain advisory is issued when rainfall is expected to exceed 60mm within three hours or 110mm within twelve hours.
In such cases, it may be difficult to stay completely dry even with an umbrella, and caution is advised as water levels in valleys and rivers may rise.
Meanwhile, heat advisories remain in effect for Nonsan, Boryeong, Buyeo, Seocheon, and Geumsan in South Chungcheong Province.
