Kiwoom Securities Launches First Domestic Bond Deposit Event... Up to 150,000 KRW in Gift Certificates
Kiwoom Securities announced on August 13 that it will hold its "Domestic Bond Transfer" event until August 25.
This event is the first domestic bond deposit promotion offered by Kiwoom Securities. Customers who transfer domestic bonds held at other securities firms to their Kiwoom Securities account will be eligible for benefits. If participants maintain their net deposit amount until October 24 of this year, all participants will receive gift certificates based on the deposit amount tier.
Participants who deposit a net amount of at least 10 million KRW but less than 100 million KRW will receive a 10,000 KRW Shinsegae gift certificate. Those who deposit at least 100 million KRW but less than 500 million KRW will receive a 30,000 KRW gift certificate, while those who deposit 500 million KRW or more will receive a 150,000 KRW gift certificate. However, domestic public offering bonds rated below BBB-, bonds with options, and short-term bonds are excluded from the event.
A Kiwoom Securities representative stated, "We plan to introduce a variety of events to provide even more benefits related to bonds in the future."
Additionally, Kiwoom Securities is currently offering more than 20 types of over-the-counter bonds online, ranging from government bonds to A-rated corporate bonds. The company is also running events for new over-the-counter bond investors and giving away U.S. stocks. Customers who invest at least 500,000 KRW in over-the-counter bonds are eligible for both bond coupon benefits and the U.S. stock giveaway event.
