To implement the project, the city has established a "Rest Area" at the Youth Support Center, transforming it into a multi-purpose space where young people can relax and prepare for employment or entrepreneurship.
For the August session, the city is offering three programs: "Basic Employment Training (using ChatGPT, resume writing, self-introduction letter)," "AI Music Composition," and "Youth Financial Planning for a Better Future."
The September session will include: ▲Cultural Activities: Eucalyptus wreath making, caring for autumn tree gardens (Time for Self-Care) ▲Employment and Job Skills: Career Growth Class (Baking and Pastry A, B), Advanced Employment Training (Interview Speech), Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) ▲Independent Living: Youth Meal Table (One-Meal Class A, B). The courses will begin sequentially starting September 2.
Eligible applicants are young people aged 19 to 39 who reside in Gimpo City, and the application period runs until August 29. Applications can be submitted through the Gimpo City Lifelong Learning Integrated Platform and the Employment 24 Youth Growth Project website.
A Gimpo City official stated, "The Youth Growth Project will serve as a strong foundation for young people to enter society stably and realize their dreams," adding, "We hope many young people will actively participate and experience new challenges and growth."
