Gijang-eup in Gijang-gun (Eup Chief Kim Myungi) launched the summer health food support project "Bokdakbokdak One Bowl" for vulnerable groups in celebration of Malbok.

View original imageAs a special initiative of the Gijang-eup Community Security Council (Co-chair Kwon Myoyeon), meal kits for Samgyetang and abalone porridge were delivered to 25 households suffering from the heat.
Council members personally visited each household to deliver the health food and provided guidance on health precautions during the heat wave. The support went beyond simply providing goods, also including welfare checks and emotional support.
