The event was attended by key figures including Yeosu Mayor Jung Kimyung, lawmakers Joo Cheolhyeon and Cho Gyewon, Yeosu City Council Chairperson Baek Insook, Jeonnam Provincial Council Vice Chairperson Lee Gwangil, as well as GS Caltex representatives, Yeulmaru Director Park Pilgyu, officials from the Regional Children's Center Association, and around 300 children and parents.
The 'Hope Energy Classroom,' GS Caltex's flagship social contribution program, has been providing various cultural experiences to local children and adolescents since 2010. In particular, since 2023, the program has evolved into a culture and arts-focused initiative by utilizing Yeulmaru's abundant resources.
This year's presentation began with a spectacular performance by dancers from the Ambiguous Dance Company, followed by a moving stage featuring choreography and costumes prepared by the participating children themselves.
