Anticipating a Boost to the Local Economy
On August 12, Yangsan City, Gyeongnam, signed investment agreements (MOUs) with Baro FS and Sewon Medics in the situation room at city hall, securing a total planned investment of 19.5 billion KRW for the Gasan General Industrial Complex.

View original imageBoth companies are currently headquartered in Busan and plan to relocate and expand to the Gasan General Industrial Complex, creating a total of 34 new local jobs.
Baro FS, a manufacturer of food additive sauces, will invest 11.4 billion KRW and create 15 new jobs. Sewon Medics, a medical device manufacturer specializing in dental implants, will invest 8.1 billion KRW and expand employment by 19 people. Yangsan City will provide tailored administrative support throughout the entire process, including permits and facility construction, to ensure both companies can proceed with their investments smoothly.
This investment agreement is expected to not only boost sales at the Gasan General Industrial Complex, but also contribute to revitalizing the local economy by fostering the medical bio industry ecosystem and expanding the food manufacturing base.
