Daesan Foundation Awards Creative Fund to Nine Emerging Writers
Support of 10 Million Won Each
for Nine Writers in Poetry, Fiction, Drama,
Literary Criticism, and Children's Literature
On August 12, the Daesan Foundation announced that it has selected nine emerging writers as recipients of the 2025 'Daesan Creative Fund' in five categories: poetry, fiction, drama, literary criticism, and children's literature.
According to the Daesan Foundation, this year's recipients are as follows: in the poetry category, Kim Riyoon, Kim Seokyoung, and Ji Gwansoon; in the fiction category, Lim Sunwoo and Lim Jiji; in the drama category, Lee Sehee; in the literary criticism category, Lee Heewoo; and in the children's literature category, Park Soi and Yoon Seulbit, making a total of nine writers.

Each recipient will receive 10 million won, for a total of 90 million won in grants. The writers are required to publish their works within one year, and all rights, including copyrights, will be retained by the authors.
