Shinhan Bank Holds AI Digital Competency Camp... Supports Digital Education for Youth
Shinhan Bank announced on the 11th that it held the "Coding for Tomorrow: AI Digital Competency Camp" for middle and high school students from the 7th to the 9th.

View original imageSince 2022, Shinhan Bank has supported AI and digital coding education for a total of about 300 children. This year, the bank expanded the program to include middle and high school students.
The camp was held for three days at Incheon National University and Shinhan Square Bridge Incheon. Participating students received hands-on training in AI and web development applicable to real life, and a junior hackathon competition was also held. Through group projects, students had the opportunity to develop creative ideas and implement them based on AI.
A Shinhan Bank official stated, "Equipping young people with the ability to properly understand and utilize AI technology greatly helps to bridge the digital divide and design their future careers," adding, "We will continue to realize the value of mutual growth with future generations through various social contribution activities."

Meanwhile, since 2022, Shinhan Bank has donated a total of 300 million won?100 million won each year?to The Salvation Army to help bridge the digital education gap and foster innovative young talent. The bank plans to continue supporting the initiative by donating an additional 100 million won annually for the next three years.
