Korea Land and Safety Management Institute Discusses Overseas Expansion with 27 Safety Industry Companies
2nd Regular Meeting of the 'Safety Industry Overseas Expansion Council'
The Korea Land and Safety Management Institute announced on the 11th that it recently held the 2nd regular meeting of the '2025 Safety Industry Overseas Expansion Council' at the Seoul Biz Center in Yongsan-gu, Seoul.
The council is joined by 27 private companies from the safety industry sector. It serves as a platform where the private sector and the government share information and experiences and develop joint strategies to enter overseas safety industry markets.

View original imageThe meeting was attended by representatives from the Facility Safety Division of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, the Climate Response Research Office of the Korea Land and Safety Management Institute, Korea Overseas Infrastructure and Urban Development Corporation (KIND), and private company representatives. KIND introduced the ongoing 'K-City Network' smart city project in the Philippines and shared updates on the council's overseas business initiatives.
The institute also officially launched a project to identify opportunities for joint overseas expansion in the safety industry. At the event, participating companies demonstrated their safety technologies.

Kim Ilhwan, President of the Korea Land and Safety Management Institute, stated, "We plan to continue communication and support so that private safety industry companies can participate in large-scale projects such as the K-City Network."
