'Sharing for Neighbors' KB Asset Management Delivers Warmth to Single-Parent Families
KB Asset Management has extended a warm helping hand in support of single-parent families.
KB Asset Management announced on the 11th that it had delivered a donation to the Salvation Army Doori Home, a support facility for single-parent families located in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, on the 8th. The donation ceremony was attended by Kim Youngsung, CEO of KB Asset Management, and Yeo Woonja, Director of the Salvation Army Doori Home.
The initiative was designed to deliver society's warm attention and hope to single-parent families in need of support immediately after childbirth. It is part of KB Asset Management’s social contribution activities aimed at addressing the low birth rate and helping to create a stable child-rearing environment for single-parent families.
The donation will be used to purchase breastfeeding chairs, infant formula, and other childbirth supplies for single-parent families, as well as to support postpartum helper services.
Under its social contribution slogan, "Value Together with Everyone," KB Asset Management encourages all employees to participate in the "One Person, One Volunteer Activity" program, leading efforts to spread the value of mutual growth. Since April, the company has been making regular visits to the Salvation Army Doori Home to engage in sharing and volunteer activities. The Salvation Army Doori Home supports single mothers with prenatal care, childbirth, and the upbringing of children under the age of three, helping single-parent families prepare for a new start.
The "KB Hope Dream Volunteer Group," a team of KB Asset Management employees, visits the Salvation Army Doori Home to organize play areas and residential facilities so that children can live in a comfortable environment. They also spend time communicating with the children through various play programs.
Kim Youngsung, CEO of KB Asset Management, stated, "To address the low birth rate, it is important to establish a stable child-rearing environment after childbirth," adding, "KB Asset Management will continue to support single-parent families to ease the burden of childcare and help children grow up healthy."
