Yongin City in Gyeonggi Province is accepting applications for the "2025 Yongin City Excellent Enterprise Certification" from local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) until August 29.
The eligible applicants are SMEs that, as of the announcement date, have had their headquarters or factories located in Yongin and have been operating normally for at least two years. Companies that were certified as excellent enterprises up to 2019 may also reapply during this recruitment period.
Selected companies will receive additional points for various support programs, including preferential support for SME special guarantees and interest subsidies for three years, as well as participation in domestic and overseas exhibitions. In addition, benefits include priority participation in city job-related projects, deferral of local tax audits, and a 50% discount on public parking lot fees.
This year, the city has supplemented its existing quantitative evaluation method and will comprehensively consider qualitative values such as business management capabilities, technological innovation, ESG practices, and contributions to the local community.
