Korea-ASEAN Link Space "ASEAN Hall Seoul" Opens
The Korea-ASEAN Center (Secretary General Kim Jaeshin) announced on August 11 that it has opened the "ASEAN Hall Seoul" on the first floor of the Korea Press Center in Jung-gu, Seoul, to mark the 58th anniversary of the founding of ASEAN.

View original imageThe ASEAN Hall Seoul, which held its opening ceremony on August 8, is a permanent exhibition and event space established to promote exchanges between the 10 ASEAN countries and Korea in various fields such as culture, tourism, and the economy. It is expected to be operated as a multi-purpose platform for major ASEAN-related events in the future.
The opening ceremony was attended by Kim Jina, Second Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, ambassadors and delegations from the 10 ASEAN countries, Kim Hwangsik, former Prime Minister, and other key domestic and international figures.

Kim Jaeshin, Secretary General of the Korea-ASEAN Center, emphasized that "ASEAN Hall Seoul is a symbolic space representing the deepening partnership between the two regions." Tanee Sangrat, Ambassador of Thailand to Korea, expressed his expectations by stating, "ASEAN Hall Seoul will serve as an important foundation for strengthening the bonds between the peoples of both sides."
