With the opening of the '2025 Gwangju Design Biennale' scheduled for August 30, Gwangju City, Korea Railroad Corporation (KORAIL), and local accommodation businesses have joined forces to introduce an innovative travel package.
This newly launched combined package offers travelers a differentiated cultural and artistic experience. It includes round-trip KTX tickets, Biennale admission tickets, and local accommodation discounts, providing convenience to visitors from all over the country.
There are two types of packages available: ▲KTX + admission ticket, and ▲KTX + admission ticket + accommodation discount. These options allow for flexible choices tailored to various traveler preferences and schedules. In particular, the packages are attracting attention as appealing travel alternatives for domestic and international design enthusiasts, art majors, and families alike.
The 2025 Gwangju Design Biennale, which runs until November 2, is a large-scale international event under the theme 'The World That Is You: How Does Design Embrace Humanity?' A total of 429 artists and 84 organizations and institutions from 19 countries will participate.
This year's event is designed as an innovative exhibition that goes beyond simple viewing, aiming for deep interaction with the audience and changes in everyday life, based on the core value of 'inclusion.'
