Shinhan Card Launches 'First Check' Tailored for Teenagers
Customized Benefits Based on Spending Data
Shinhan Card announced on August 7 that it has launched "Shinhan Card First Check," a financial product tailored for teenagers, offering customized benefits based on the spending data of middle and high school students.
Taking into account the spending levels of teenagers, the company set the previous month's spending requirement for benefits at 100,000 won, which is lower than that of standard check card products.
Customers can earn a 5% reward when using the card at businesses closely related to academic activities, such as study rooms, bookstores, and stationery stores.
At convenience stores frequently visited by teenagers (GS25, CU, 7-Eleven), as well as fast food restaurants and cafes (Twosome Place, Ediya, Mega MGC Coffee, Paris Baguette, Baskin Robbins), customers receive a basic 5% reward. An additional 2% reward is offered for purchases made after school between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m., allowing customers to earn up to 7% of the amount spent.
