Busan Urban Corporation (BMC, President Shin Changho) has received an excellent grade for the fourth consecutive year, ranking third ('B' grade) among local development corporations nationwide in the '2025 Local Public Enterprise Management Evaluation' (based on 2024 performance) organized by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
The Local Public Enterprise Management Evaluation is a system that assesses over 20 detailed indicators, including management and performance, for 281 institutions nationwide. This year, the evaluation placed greater emphasis on responses to low birth rates and regional extinction, digital innovation, and financial soundness.
Busan Urban Corporation was recognized for its achievements in several areas: ▲ four consecutive years of increases in sales and net income ▲ expansion of the community-focused housing welfare project 'BMC Housing Welfare ON (On)' ▲ implementation of youth housing projects addressing low birth rates and regional extinction (Lucky 7 House and Cheongnyeon Moduga) ▲ receiving the highest grade in the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's data-driven administration assessment ▲ establishing a 30 billion KRW co-prosperity fund for mutual growth ▲ and publishing an ESG management report.
