Samil PwC and Korea Exchange to Hold "On-site Financial and Accounting Practice Seminar"
Held in Six Regions Including Seoul, Incheon, and Busan
Samil PwC Experts to Deliver Practical, Hands-on Lectures
On August 7, Samil PwC announced that, in collaboration with the Korea Exchange SME Accounting Support Center, it will hold the "On-site Financial and Accounting Practice Seminar" in six regions?including Seoul, Incheon, and Busan?in September.
This seminar has been organized to strengthen the financial capabilities of listed companies outside the capital area. Samil PwC experts will deliver practical lectures on topics such as accounting, taxation, internal controls, and artificial intelligence (AI).
The topics include: ▲ Key considerations for accounting treatments related to core audit focus areas ▲ Major issues in the latest pre-announcements and revised tax laws for 2025 ▲ Responses to the Commercial Act amendment, internal accounting legislation, and disclosure of fund controls ▲ AI and digital strategies and response measures ▲ Practical investor relations (IR) strategies for listed companies in response to the Commercial Act amendment.
The seminars will be held in the following order: Busan (September 9), Daegu (September 10), Daejeon (September 11), Gwangju (September 15), Incheon (September 17), and Seoul (September 19). The seminars in Incheon and Daejeon will be co-hosted with the respective regional chambers of commerce. In all regions except Seoul, a dinner and a question-and-answer (Q&A) session will be provided after the lectures.
