Sogang University Receives Top S Grade in 'Educational Innovation' Evaluation of University Innovation Project
Sogang University announced on August 7 that it received the highest S grade in the "2025 University Innovation Support Project Performance Evaluation in the Field of Educational Innovation," conducted by the Ministry of Education and the National Research Foundation of Korea.
The University Innovation Support Project is a government funding initiative aimed at supporting university innovation and structural improvement, with 138 universities nationwide participating.
Sogang University received high marks for several reasons: it guarantees student-centered major selection through the operation of student-designed majors; it has systematically established plans for operating three major liberal arts colleges; and it has built a liberal arts education system focused on fundamental academic disciplines.
