[Click eStock] "Sanil Electric Expected to Deliver Strong Results This Year"
On August 7, LS Securities stated that it expects Sanil Electric's performance this year to surpass market forecasts.
Sanil Electric has set a target of 434 billion KRW in sales for this year. Sung Jonghwa, a researcher at LS Securities, estimated, "We project that Sanil Electric will achieve sales of 507.5 billion KRW and operating profit of 178.9 billion KRW this year," adding, "Considering that the effects of capacity expansion will be reflected starting from the third quarter of this year, the company is likely to exceed its projections."
He continued, "Pad transformer demand remains strong overall, and this will drive a recovery in growth from the third quarter of this year." He also noted, "In the renewable energy sector, the U.S. market is experiencing explosive growth." He emphasized, "For special transformers used in solar power generation, sales of transformers supplying power to data centers operated by big tech companies, including Amazon, have surged. Additionally, demand for special transformers for big tech data center BESS is structurally rising steeply."
In the second quarter of this year, Sanil Electric recorded sales of 128.3 billion KRW and operating profit of 46.3 billion KRW. These figures represent increases of 71% and 89%, respectively, compared to the same period last year.
