Gwangju Jeonnam Accountants Association Donates Funds for Flood Recovery

View original imageOn August 6, the Gwangju Community Chest of Korea (hereafter referred to as Gwangju Sarangui Yeolmae) announced that all members of the Gwangju Jeonnam Regional Certified Public Accountants Association had donated 35 million won to support recovery efforts for the heavy rain damage in the Gwangju area.
The donation ceremony was held that afternoon at the conference room of the Gwangju Jeonnam Regional Certified Public Accountants Association in Seo-gu, Gwangju. The event was attended by Koo Jekil, President of Gwangju Sarangui Yeolmae, Jung Byungmin, President of the Gwangju Jeonnam Regional Certified Public Accountants Association, and other related officials.
This donation will be used for practical recovery efforts in the Gwangju area, including prompt support for restoration following the heavy rains, emergency relief for those affected, and temporary housing assistance for displaced residents.
Jung Byungmin, President of the Gwangju Jeonnam Regional Certified Public Accountants Association, stated, "We hope the heartfelt contributions of our members will bring comfort to our neighbors affected by the disaster," adding, "We will continue our efforts to be an accounting association that contributes to the local community."
