Gijang County in Busan Completes Wollae-Gori Frequent Tidal Wave Damage Prevention Project
Cadastral Registration Finalized
for 18,798.2 Square Meters Including Newly Reclaimed Land
Gijang County (Governor Jung Jongbok) announced on August 6 that, following the completion of the 'Wollae-Gori Frequent Tidal Wave Damage Prevention Project,' it has finalized cadastral confirmation and registered a total of 10 parcels, including newly reclaimed land, covering 18,798.2 square meters.
The finalized parcels include 498 Gilcheon-ri and four other parcels in Jangan-eup (11,099.2 square meters), as well as 665 Wollae-ri and four other parcels (7,326.0 square meters). The designated land uses consist of parks, parking lots, embankments, and roads.
The county followed the procedures for cadastral confirmation in accordance with the 'Act on the Management and Reclamation of Public Waters' and the 'Act on the Establishment and Management of Spatial Information.' As a result, the existing cadastral records were closed and new cadastral records were created.
With this cadastral registration, systematic management of key facilities such as breakwaters, revetments, and disaster prevention parks has become possible. The county also expects to see significant improvements in administrative efficiency and transparency in land administration.
