According to reports, when witnesses shouted, "What are you doing?" the man in the video replied, "I'm training the dog because it bites," and then quickly left the scene.
On August 5, a post titled "Dog Abuse Incident in the Alley Behind XX Department Store in Jeonpo-dong" was uploaded to an online community, along with a video.
In the video, the man is seen walking down the alley with a dog on a leash. Suddenly, he wraps the leash around his hand, then uses his arm to violently shake the dog from side to side. The dog's body is lifted into the air, spinning like a top, and remains suspended for a while as its body twists in midair.
When witnesses shouted, "What are you doing?" the man stopped his actions and put the dog back on the ground. According to witnesses, the man explained, "The dog tried to bite, so I was training it," and then hurriedly left the scene.

However, the account of the informant who filmed the video was different. The informant claimed, "Before I started filming, the man pushed the dog against the wall and hit it," adding, "It could not be considered simple discipline."
