Dong-A University Hosts 'Korean Summer Session' for Overseas Sister University Students
Dong-A University (President Lee Haewoo) announced on August 6 that it is hosting the '2025 Korean Summer Session (KSS)' for two weeks from August 4 to August 15, inviting students from its overseas sister universities.
This program brings together approximately 100 participants, including 77 students from 14 partner universities in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Japan, China, and other countries, as well as 30 Dong-A University student staff members.
The invited universities include: University of Hertfordshire (United Kingdom), Teesside University (United Kingdom), South East Technological University (Ireland), University of Fukui (Japan), Kansai University (Japan), and Renmin University of China (China), among others.
Participating students are staying at Seokdang Global House, the university’s dormitory for international students, where they are taking Korean language classes and joining a variety of cultural experience programs, such as pottery, traditional etiquette, crafts, K-Pop dance, taekwondo, templestay, and samulnori. They will also visit major attractions in Busan, including a baseball stadium, Gamcheon Culture Village, Nampo-dong, and Haeundae, as well as key tourist sites such as Bulguksa Temple and Seokguram Grotto in Gyeongju.
