The Gyeonggi Provincial Fire and Disaster Headquarters held a "Special Equipment Evaluation Meeting for Electric Vehicle Fire Response" at the Gyeonggi Fire Academy on the 5th, directly verifying the effectiveness of the equipment.
This evaluation meeting was organized to test the cooling and penetration performance of a penetrating spray device designed to effectively respond to electric vehicle battery fires, which are characterized by high temperatures and the risk of reignition. It also aimed to establish guidelines for future equipment distribution.
The Gyeonggi Provincial Fire and Disaster Headquarters plans to review additional equipment distribution in the second half of this year based on the results of this evaluation meeting.
