Chinese Man Detained and Referred to Prosecution for Killing Cohabitant Woman in Garibong-dong, Seoul
A Chinese man who murdered a woman he was living with at their residence in Garibong-dong, Guro-gu, Seoul, has been handed over to the prosecution.
On August 6, the Guro Police Station in Seoul announced that a man in his 60s, identified as A, has been detained and referred to the prosecution on charges of murder.
According to the police, A is accused of fatally stabbing a woman in her 50s, with whom he was cohabiting, at their residence in Garibong-dong, Guro-gu, Seoul, at around 3:17 a.m. on July 31.
The victim was transported to the hospital in cardiac arrest but ultimately died.
It was confirmed that A committed the crime during an argument with the victim.

A police official stated, "The suspect has admitted to the charges, and based on the initial autopsy findings and witness statements, the charges have been substantiated and the case has been forwarded to the prosecution."
