Busan Office of Education Operates 'Nutrition Experience Day' to Support Healthy Eating Habits for Families and Young Children
The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Kim Seokjun) is operating the 'Nutrition Experience Day' for education families and kindergartens to promote the health of students and young children.
This program focuses on improving eating habits and enhancing the effectiveness of nutrition education by linking the Nutrition Education Experience Center with families and kindergartens. From August 4 to August 14, a total of nine sessions will be held for education families, and from August 18 to August 22, a total of five sessions will be held for kindergarteners.
About 480 people from 180 families will participate in the 'Family Nutrition Experience Day.' Participants will engage in various experience booths, including ▲making Baechu Kimchi ▲traditional Gochujang cooking class ▲Nadang Laboratory ▲NU Convenience Store ▲Food Safety 119, and more.
In addition, about 250 kindergarteners will participate in the 'Kindergarten Nutrition Experience Day,' where they will experience customized cooking classes for young children, such as ▲cookie making ▲'Crispy Rainbow Pickle Making' using vegetables. In particular, nutrition teachers from five education support offices will directly conduct education tailored to the eye level of young children.
