"Youth Supporters 112" is a program first launched nationwide by the Gwangju Metropolitan Police Commission in 2021. The supporters promote the commission’s major policies and initiatives through social networking services (SNS).
Eligible applicants are young people aged 19 to 39 who have a personal SNS account and, as of the announcement date, either reside in Gwangju or are students currently enrolled at a university located in Gwangju. Starting with this recruitment, the Gwangju Metropolitan Police Commission has expanded eligibility to include university students in the Gwangju area. Applications can be submitted online via Google Forms. For more details, refer to the notices and announcements on the Gwangju City website.
The selected supporters will participate in mandatory online promotional activities linked to SNS, propose ideas for autonomous police policies, and engage in voluntary promotional activities such as creating slogans, for three months from September 1 to November 30.
