Hampyeong County Successfully Completes Basic Training to Promote Agricultural Product Processing Industry

View original imageHampyeong County in South Jeolla Province announced on August 1 that it has conducted a basic training program to promote the agricultural product processing industry.
The "Basic Agricultural Product Processing Course," held at the county's Agricultural Technology Center from June to July, was designed to increase the added value of local agricultural products and to strengthen the processing capabilities of farmers. The program was conducted over a total of 10 sessions and 40 hours, with 19 participants completing the course.
The main curriculum included understanding food consumption trends, food hygiene and related regulations, key food processing technologies, and both dry and wet processing methods. The training combined theory and hands-on practice, receiving a positive response from participants.

Moon Jeongmo, head of the Hampyeong Agricultural Technology Center, said, "I hope this training has served as a solid stepping stone for farmers taking their first steps in the processing field," and added, "We will continue to actively support farmers in strengthening their capabilities and creating new added value through ongoing education."
