Trump Says "Just Reached Trade Agreements with a Couple of Countries" Ahead of Reciprocal Tariffs Implementation
On July 31 (local time), U.S. President Donald Trump announced, "Just a moment ago, we reached trade agreements with a couple of other countries," one day before the implementation of reciprocal tariffs.
During an executive order signing ceremony held at the White House, President Trump introduced Treasury Secretary Scott Besant and said, "We are making tremendous, tremendous, truly tremendous deals that no one has ever seen before," making these remarks.
However, President Trump did not specify with which countries or on what terms the agreements were made.
