Approximately 50 people, including people with disabilities, facility staff, and police officers, attended the event. The program included customized crime prevention education for socially disadvantaged groups, such as understanding disabilities and human rights, and guidelines for responding to sexual crimes.
The Northern Youth Sexuality Culture Center operated a variety of hands-on activities at the Daum Experience Center to promote gender equality awareness, including education on respect for life to address low birth rates, pregnancy simulation experiences, and making Eum cups, which received a positive response from participants.
Lee Sanghun, head of the 2nd Mobile Unit, said, "We will continue to expand crime prevention education and promotional activities, including those on sexual violence, to take the lead in protecting and supporting socially disadvantaged groups." He added, "Through customized programs in collaboration with the local community, we will work to spread a sense of communal responsibility."
