SisonAI Launches SEEU ON IdP, Continuous Authentication Security Solution for Hacking Defense in Financial Sector
Vision AI specialist company SisonAI announced on the 25th that it has launched 'SEEU ON IdP', a facial recognition-based integrated authentication solution optimized for hacking defense, internal control, and payment security in the financial sector.
SisonAI's SEEU ON IdP is a server-based integrated authentication platform that provides a standard linkage adapter offering AI-based facial recognition technology and unconscious continuous authentication functionality. This allows for ongoing verification of the user's status and detection of abnormal behavior even after initial user authentication.
The existing FIDO2-based authentication method operates by storing biometric information on the user's device and performing authentication only on that device. While this approach aims to balance user convenience and security, it has faced challenges in continuously monitoring the user's status after authentication. Additionally, its device-dependent structure poses limitations in multi-device environments and in terms of centralized control within financial institutions or enterprises.
SEEU ON IdP addresses these technical limitations by providing a centralized authentication architecture. It verifies the user's facial information on the server, rather than on the client device. It is designed to continuously monitor authentication status by integrating with internal systems of institutions and enterprises. As a result, it enables real-time response not only at the moment of authentication but also to various security threats that may arise afterward, such as insider threats, unauthorized access, and attempts at data leakage.
Furthermore, by offering an IdP adapter that supports various standard protocols such as SAML, OIDC, and OAuth2, it can be easily integrated with a range of operational environments including financial institutions' core banking systems, payment systems, and internal applications. Through this, the financial sector can implement an authentication system that reflects a zero trust security model.
SisonAI's flagship solution SEEU ON can also be applied to user terminals, providing endpoint security features such as unconscious continuous authentication for the client, screen capture detection, and detection of unauthorized access by others. SEEU ON has previously obtained GS Certification Level 1 and the CSAP (Cloud Security Assurance Program) Standard Grade.
