SuperWalk Marks 3rd Anniversary, Surpasses 500 Million Minutes of Total Exercise Time
Used in Over 40 Countries Including Southeast Asia, Japan, and the United States
Number of Japanese Users Doubled in One Year
Proground, the operator of 'SuperWalk', announced on the 25th that the total time users have spent exercising on the platform has surpassed 500 million minutes as the service marks its third anniversary. SuperWalk is a service that rewards users with tokens when they walk or run while equipped with NFT shoes.
The combined exercise time of SuperWalk users so far totals 514.1 million minutes, which is approximately 978 years. Assuming a full marathon completion time of 5 hours, this is equivalent to completing 1.71 million marathons. The cumulative exercise distance has also reached 41.22 million kilometers, an increase of more than 72% compared to the second anniversary.
Through these achievements, SuperWalk has established itself as a health management app that helps users build exercise habits in their daily lives, having secured a cumulative user base of 450,000 over the past three years and maintaining a monthly retention rate of 80%.
Currently, the proportion of SuperWalk users by country is as follows: Indonesia (27%), Vietnam (16.1%), the Philippines (12.8%), Iran (10%), and Japan (8.3%). Notably, the number of users in Japan has doubled in just one year, showing rapid growth.
Based on NFT shoes, users' preferred exercise types are walking (58.2%), jogging (24.8%), and running (17%). The user who recorded the highest exercise time and earnings in a single day through SuperWalk achieved 10 hours of exercise and approximately 700,000 KRW in earnings.
