Guro-gu and Gangbuk-gu organized this commendation ceremony to express their gratitude to outstanding donors who have contributed to spreading a culture of sharing.
Woori Children Hospital and Seongbuk Woori Children Hospital have not only fulfilled their primary roles as medical institutions but have also actively participated in various social contribution activities for marginalized groups and children in the local community. In 2020, Woori Children Hospital was inducted into the "Heroes Club Hall of Fame" in Guro-gu. Recently, the hospital has also taken the lead in local development and nurturing talent by donating scholarships to foster regional talent. Since 2019, Seongbuk Woori Children Hospital has consistently donated funds, rice, and children's nutritional supplements to vulnerable families in the community, working to address welfare blind spots in the region.
In particular, both hospitals were selected on July 1 for the "Essential Specialized Function Enhancement Support Project" in the field of pediatrics and adolescents, implemented by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, faithfully fulfilling their roles as specialized hospitals while also leading the way in spreading a culture of sharing and donation in the region.
