Changnyeong County in Gyeongnam announced on July 24 that it had carried out emergency restoration work for greenhouse farms in Jeungsan-ri, Gilgok-myeon, which suffered significant damage due to the recent heavy rainfall.

View original imageApproximately 132 people, including members of the Changnyeong County Volunteer Council, volunteers, soldiers from the 5870th Unit, and provincial and county council members, participated in the recovery activities. Despite the intense heat, they helped restore the damaged farms by clearing flooded chili pepper plants, repairing cultivation beds, and removing debris. Their prompt response provided significant comfort and practical assistance to the affected farmers.
County Governor Sung Nakin said, "I would like to thank the volunteers and the 5870th Unit for their tireless efforts and swift support for the recovery efforts," adding, "We will spare no support to help residents affected by the flood return to their daily lives."
