Lego Group Launches Retro-Style 'Lego Ideas Minifigure Vending Machine'
A Fully Functional Capsule Toy Machine Made with Lego
Nostalgic Minifigures and Realistic Vending Experience
On July 24, the Lego Group announced the launch of a new adult-oriented product, the 'Lego Ideas Minifigure Vending Machine,' themed after a retro-style capsule toy machine.
This new product is a red, retro-style vending machine that dispenses nostalgic Lego minifigures, and is made up of a total of 1,343 bricks. It is designed to operate like a real vending machine: by inserting a coin-shaped brick into the front slot and turning the handle, a capsule is dispensed with a 'click' sound.
There are a total of 16 capsules, and each capsule contains bricks and accessories to assemble one minifigure. The minifigures include four selected by fan votes on the Lego Ideas platform, as well as a variety from popular series of the 1980s and 1990s such as Castle, Paradisa, and Fabuland, in addition to a minifigure designed by the fan designer of this product.
