Korea Teachers’ Credit Union Donates 100 Million Won for Heavy Rain Damage Recovery
The Korea Teachers’ Credit Union announced on the 24th that it has donated 100 million won to the Community Chest of Korea to support recovery efforts for damage caused by the recent heavy rains.
The union explained that, as the heavy rainfall occurred nationwide over a short period, it decided to provide disaster relief funds to help restore affected areas and stabilize the lives of displaced residents.
Jung Gap-yoon, Chairman of the Korea Teachers’ Credit Union, stated, "I would like to express my deepest condolences to those affected by the recent heavy rains," adding, "I hope that recovery efforts will be completed safely without further damage and that the daily lives of the displaced residents will be restored as soon as possible."

The union also provided emergency relief funds in April to support victims of wildfires in the Yeongnam region and continues to engage in community support activities through various donations, including year-end assistance for neighbors in need.
