Dong-Eui University Artificial Intelligence Grand ICT Research Center Signs MOU with Megazone Cloud and Zenis Cloud
The Dong-Eui University Artificial Intelligence Grand ICT Research Center (Director: Jung Seokchan) signed a memorandum of understanding with Megazone Cloud and Zenis Cloud on July 18, at the Prime Hall of the Industry-Academia Cooperation Building, to promote the exchange of artificial intelligence technology and cloud-based service convergence technologies.

View original imageThe signing ceremony was attended by Jung Seokchan, Director of the Dong-Eui University Artificial Intelligence Grand ICT Research Center, Hwang Incheol, CEO of Megazone Cloud, Lee Jaeho, CEO of Zenis Cloud, and other representatives from each organization.
Through this agreement, the organizations have agreed to cooperate in the following areas: exchange and research and development of cloud-based artificial intelligence technologies; support for linking regional industries through the convergence of artificial intelligence and cloud technologies; establishment of an artificial intelligence and cloud-based network ecosystem; cultivation of outstanding talent in the field of artificial intelligence and cloud convergence; and development of industry-academia linked educational programs and information exchange.
Jung Seokchan, Director of the Artificial Intelligence Grand ICT Research Center, stated, "In the era of artificial intelligence, the technology of cloud and AI data centers is crucial." He added, "Through this agreement, we aim to create new market opportunities and strengthen the digital competitiveness of regional industries by organically connecting the cloud operation experience and technological capabilities of companies with the research infrastructure of the university."
The Artificial Intelligence Grand ICT Research Center is being operated with support from the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Institute of Information & Communications Technology Planning & Evaluation (IITP) under the 'Regional Intelligence Innovation Talent Development Project.'
