LS Group Donates 500 Million Won to Community Chest of Korea for Flood Relief
Support for Flood Recovery and Assistance for Displaced Residents
Six Affiliates Participate in Donation
Free Services Provided, Including Agricultural Machinery Inspections
LS Group has donated 500 million won to help residents affected by heavy rainfall and flooding that occurred across the country.
According to LS Group on July 23, six affiliates participated in the donation: LS Cable & System, LS Electric, LS MnM, LS Mtron, E1, and Inveni (formerly Yesco Holdings). The donation, which LS contributed to the Community Chest of Korea, will be used for the restoration of flood-damaged areas and to support those who have been displaced.
A representative from LS Group stated, "We extend our deepest sympathies to those experiencing great hardship due to the sudden heavy rains," and added, "We hope that our support for flood recovery and assistance for victims, even if small, will help local residents quickly regain stability in their daily lives."
Previously, LS has conducted electrical safety inspections in areas with aging infrastructure. In response to the recent heavy rains, the company plans to offer free inspections and parts replacement services for agricultural machinery, such as tractors, that have been damaged by flooding.
