The Hapcheon County Council in South Gyeongsang Province announced on the 23rd that more than 30 council members and administrative staff visited Samga-myeon to comfort residents who suffered severe damage from extreme heavy rainfall and to carry out flood recovery activities to help them return to their daily lives as quickly as possible.
Chairman Jeong Bonghun, along with council members and administrative staff, worked up a sweat as they organized household goods, removed debris, and handled waste for rapid recovery efforts.

Chairman Jeong Bonghun said, "I sincerely offer my condolences to the residents who suffered great damage from this heavy rain," and added, "I earnestly hope that this flood recovery effort by the Hapcheon County Council will help comfort those who are exhausted and struggling, and serve as a cornerstone for their return to daily life."
