Unveiling the new product 'Angel Suit H10,' he presented a clear vision for 'human-centered technology.' He emphasized that technology exists to reinvent human capabilities, and that people must always be at the center of it.
For him, robots are not just cold machines that replace humans. They are 'benevolent technology' that restore precious movements lost due to illness, accidents, or aging, and protect human dignity. He recalled a personal memory of his grandmother, whose quality of life collapsed when she suddenly lost the ability to walk, saying, "Being able to walk on your own is the most dignified aspect of being human." Such experiences have further solidified his philosophy that technology must be directed toward people.
The core of this philosophy is undoubtedly the 'technology for understanding human behavioral intent.' CEO Jo stated firmly, "If a robot only moves according to commands, then only the robot's will exists?there is no human presence." Angel Robotics' robots first detect the wearer's intention to move and the signals from stepping on the ground, then naturally provide optimal support. He stressed that "minimizing the sense of strangeness in wearable robots and providing a user-centered robotic assistance experience is paramount."
Angel Robotics' product strategy follows this philosophy, gradually expanding from hospitals to homes, and from severe to mild cases. If the 'M20' for intensive gait therapy in hospitals was the starting point, the newly launched 'Angel Suit H10' serves as a bridge, with a lighter and more compact design to help patients with mild symptoms return to daily life.
His vision does not end here. Having become CEO last year in place of the founder, he dreams of a complete cycle in which treatment that begins in the hospital returns to the home. To this end, he unveiled plans to develop 'D2P (Direct to Patient)' products for direct use by patients in their daily lives, aiming to open a true home healthcare market. His goal is to leverage his experience in the medical industry to drive Angel Robotics' growth.
Another pillar for realizing this vision is the software platform 'Angela Pro.' Using smartphones as an example, CEO Jo explained, "Only when hardware, software, and artificial intelligence (AI) are integrated does a complete solution?a robot?emerge." 'Angela Pro' collects and analyzes biomechanical data such as patients' gait cycles and joint ranges of motion, helping medical professionals quantitatively assess patients' conditions and design customized training. This reflects the company's determination to go beyond being a simple device manufacturer and to build a data-driven healthcare ecosystem.

Throughout the interview, CEO Jo repeatedly expressed his confidence. This confidence was based on the technological capabilities of founder Gong Kyungchul and a firm commitment to technology for people. He stated, "We will begin by thoroughly dominating the Asia-Pacific market and then sequentially expand into the Americas and Europe."
