National Federation of Fisheries Cooperatives and Sh Suhyup Bank Support Fishermen by Visiting Fishing Villages
Visiting 10 Suhyup Member Cooperatives Nationwide
Delivering Daily Necessities to Low-Income Members
The National Federation of Fisheries Cooperatives and Sh Suhyup Bank announced that they are holding the "Healthy Summer During the Heat Wave" event to support fishing villages. The two organizations will visit 10 member cooperatives across the country by the end of this month, delivering daily necessities to 100 low-income cooperative households at each location in response to the heat wave and rainy season. In addition, they will provide free traditional Korean medicine checkups for elderly residents to prevent heat-related illnesses.
Starting with Daecheon West Suhyup on the 16th, free traditional Korean medicine checkups have been held at member cooperatives in Gyeongin, Gangwon, Jeonnam, and Gyeongnam regions. Doctors and volunteers from the Traditional Korean Medicine Volunteer Corps participated, offering various traditional medical services such as health consultations, acupuncture, and moxibustion to about 100 elderly residents in each local village.
